It's actually not quite as dire as it sounds. At the same time they were shutting down Aces, MGS was busy opening up new positions in other game groups. There were about 130 people in Aces, and not all of them will be able to slot in to the new positions, but a good number should be able to find new homes in relatively short order.
Feel odd being on "administrative leave." I'm eager to find a new position and get back to work.
